What are MV (Motor Vehicle) patients?
Have you been in a car accident? The first thing to do is to see your GP at your earliest convenience. You may be eligible for Third Party Insurance physiotherapy. If you have been injured in a motor vehicle accident, a Compulsory Third Party insurer will cover the cost of your physiotherapy services.
If your GP deems it appropriate they will then write a referral for you to receive physiotherapy treatment. You must have a GP referral for your treatment to be covered by the CTP (Compulsory Third Party). You cannot self-refer under the Third Party Insurance claim.
Please bring along to your initial consultation:
- Your general practitioner referral
- Your CTP (Compulsory Third Party) claim number
- Your insurance company details including case manager name, contact details (email, address, phone number) and billing details
- Any relevant tests or scans
What are WC (Workers compensation) patients?
Work-related injuries can be billed directly to your employer’s workers compensation insurers. You will need to see your GP who can start the process of referral to us. You will need to bring your referral form from your doctor indicating physiotherapy treatment has been prescribed. Once we have the referral, your workers compensation claim number and have confirmed this with your workers compensation insurance company we will bill your insurer directly.
